St. VDP PANTRY REQUEST: We serve local individuals and families through our Food Pantry. Our pantry runs low often, and we desperately need your help to keep it stocked. Would you kindly add a couple items to your grocery list and drop them off in the front of the church or in the church office? Things we give out most are: nonperishable (canned or boxed) food items, toiletries, shampoo, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, jelly, dry beans, rice, and cat food.
ABOUT US:
St. Vincent de Paul Society has 690,000 members in 142 countries. Our St Malachy Conference is a very vital part of this Charitable Group. Our 25+ members devote countless hours assisting those in need of food, utility bills, rental bills, and referrals to other services if needed. We serve local individuals and families through a FOOD PANTRY stocked by donations from our parish community. We also strive to help, when possible, to bring them to a life of self-sufficiency.
MEETINGS:
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00 pm. New members always needed. You do not need to be Catholic to work with us for as little as 1 hour a month.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We are entirely dependent on donations, and NO ONE is compensated in anyway other than the privilege of serving those in need and giving God all the Glory. Our Food Pantry is ALWAYS in need of donations and supplies. When doing your grocery shopping please consider picking up an extra item or two for our pantry.
Items needed most often are:
NONPERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS:

dry beans
rice
canned vegetables

cat food
TOILETRIES:
