Children's Catechetical Department (CCD) Ages 5-13

K-5 Classes (ages 5-13)
Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:00 PM McMullan Hall Sacrament of Reconciliation (1st Confession) & 1st Holy Communion: Two-Year preparation required. Candidates must be at least 7 years old and in 2nd grade. |
Special Sacraments - (O.C.I.A. adapted for children 7+)
Classes are scheduled based on need but are usually held on Sundays at 10:00 am in McMullan Hall.
The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) Adapted for Children is a liturgical and educational experience of growing in faith for children, eight years of age and older, who have not yet been baptized or were baptized, but never received their First Communion.
Children are prepared for Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist in an age-appropriate way that draws on the spiritual experience they already have and by providing them with the foundations of the Catholic faith upon which they can grow.

EDGE & Confirmation 1 & 2 for Teens ages 14-18 (Jr. High- High)

EDGE: Special intermediate classes for Jr, High students. Confirmation: Two-Year preparation required. Candidates must be at least 14 years of age and a Freshman in High School. Classes are on Tuesdays and will start on:

O.C.I.A. (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Adult (17+) Sacrament Preparation: Including Baptism, Reconciliation (Confession), Eucharist, and Confirmation
