The Feast of the Guardian Angels is OCTOBER 2nd

Angel of God, my guardian dear
To whom Go's love entrusts me here
Ever this day be at my side
to light and guard to rule and guide.

Angel guardian, lifelong companion
Friend of God and friend of mine
Light the path which lies before me
Lead me to the Love Divine

Protect and guard me from all evil
Bear me up with golden wing
Playful spirit dancing round me
Teach my heart with yours to sing

Hold me back when temptation surges
Rule me with a gentle rod
Block my path when I'm going my way
Guide me to the Face of God

Ever loyal servant, herald
Faithful from the dawn of time
Let me behold your realm of splendor
Lift me up to joy sublime

Slow me down when I'm rushing frantic
Play your harp and strings for me
When I'm sunk in pain and sorrow
Offer a taste of ecstasy

By my side I want you near me
Never let me fall from grace
On this day I thank God, He made you
One day ill thank you face to face.
