The Shack
My son, Dominic, is in the seminary studying to become a priest. One of the recommended books for him to read this spring was The Shack by William Paul Young. Dominic read this book and then recommended that we read it also, and so we did. Even though the author is not a Catholic, he writes this fictional story as an inspiration to let God work in your life to heal you and forgive you. There are some moments in the book that are hard to swallow, but if you go with the story, it all makes sense in the end. I highly encourage you to read this story and discuss it with me at OCIA.
