Thanks to Lucas for breaking apart 23 giant concrete blobs! Step 3: removal of small concrete pieces to the dump. Step 4: $3000 will cover the cost of filling the entire area with sand. BAPTISMAL FONT
COMPLETED (2024) Our Baptismal Font didn't work. It wasn't aligned with the drain; water poured out the side and onto the floor. The clogged drain in the floor was cleared. The rails were removed as they prohibited large families from gathering around the font for baptisms. The step down was leveled so there is no longer a tripping hazard. The floor tiles used are "baptismal white" We bless ourselves to remind us of the purity of our baptism; the promises made; the Christian family to whom we belong; the sacramental grace we have received; and the call to be a light unto the nations. Total cost: $3,500 Thank you to the Villalpondo family for their generous donation to help complete this project and to Rare Art Motif for their excellent craftmanship. |
